About Buckscale
Buckscale is a small family venture that started in my garage over my love of scale RC crawlers. I wanted scale accessories but not the same that everyone else has or can get, I am a unique person, and I wanted my scale crawler to be unique too. As soon as I started making accessories people showed interest in what I produce. Being in and out of the hobby since the late 1980's I know unique products are something a lot of us in the hobby desire. After a long break from wheeled RC, I came back by getting into scale RC crawlers, I soon noticed the selection of scale accessories our choices were epic yet limited as everything is mass produced. I do love and appreciate the quality and details of 3d printed and other mass-produced accessories, but everyone can buy the exact same thing. With my accessories being handcrafted no two of the same item are identical, you will never see the exact same thing in your other rigs(or scale garages) or someone else's. This being an artistic based venture it's labor intensive and more than one person can sanely handle. This is where I bring in the family, at first it was my youngest son helping with cutting and packaging and more. In recent history I have involved my better half for anything from cutting, painting, packaging, finding supplies, and all the other stuff I am not good at business wise. All the details that make my products mine I do as well as any other step along the way.
Buckscale items being handcrafted not only make each one unique, but the perfection is in the imperfections, I am not a machine so there are always small differences in every product we produce. Every product is built to be as durable as possible, however these are handcrafted of mostly wood and some polystyrene they can be damaged. Placement in a rig for protection is never a bad idea, I am also a personal fan of not letting my rig take hard rollovers. My products are made as light as possible; this is helpful for keeping your cog low while having some accessories, extra helpful in competition crawlers.
I am an artist with the help of his family trying to see if this side venture can turn into something more. Mainly we would like to get an online store as soon as possible. I currently sell trough Facebook, email, or in person.

What we hope to see in the future for Buckscale products
This all started with me being a hobbyist, I have done many things in a few hobbies over the years. So what our future holds for products here is exciting. We have the obvious plan of new scale accessories as ideas and materials pop up. We have plans for accessories for scale shops/garages as well as for diorama's for those killer pictures of your rig.
